The PECHEADO blog

We offer multi-technique fishing camps, as well as camps specifically for predator fishing with lures and catfish fishing stays with buoys and on the drop-offs. The range of techniques is very wide, particularly for predator fishing, where you can hunt zander, perch, pike, black bass and other catfish from the bank, from a boat, in a float tube and wading. Our courses are deliberately limited to 6 participants per fishing guide instructor, in particular for reasons of safety, quality of service and to offer effective learning for every child.

We are always careful with all the products we select to equip our young anglers. Above all, these are excellent models with an undeniable value for money. The DAIWA NINJA LT 2500 reel, which we use for all of our lure fishing, is no exception. Robust and high-performing, it is above all a reel that is accessible to a young angler. This reel will satisfy beginners and the most experienced among you alike.

used during our predator fishing sessions, from a boat, a float tube and the bank. Mounted on DAIWA MEGAFORCE rods, this combo does the job perfectly. Suited to our young anglers, the whole outfit is very well balanced.
The grip offers excellent fishing comfort, thanks in particular to a non-slip plastic handle. We use this DAIWA NINJA reel for different types of fishing: light straight retrieve, weightless for black bass, swimming lures for pike…

Fitted with 0.14 mm braid, strong enough for the fishing we do, the reel shows no flaws when casting. Thanks to a quality spool lip, the coils of line leave the spool smoothly. After several weeks of heavy use, the bail is still as sturdy. It is relatively thick, a sign of great strength. This reel gives a real feeling of smoothness and makes casting easier for our young apprentice anglers.

The drag is smooth enough. We have had no breakage problems on nice fish. The drag works perfectly and lets the braid leave the spool under the possible rushes of big fish. The drag of this DAIWA reel is rated at 10 kg, which seems excessive for a reel in this category, but it does its job perfectly even on very big fish.

The Daiwa Ninja 2500 LT reel benefits from technologies that are rare for a reel in this range. The performance is therefore logically up to the mark. After hundreds of hours of use, this reel shows me no sign of fatigue.
